Terms and conditions

All orders placed on Express Saga is subject to the following terms and conditions.

1. Products
Products are showcased under different category headings. Product description and images are best to our knowledge. Gift orders are delivered to the delivery address provided while placing the order.

2. Price

The price of the goods includes Bank transaction fees i.e by PayPal 4%+30 cents or by Nepali Bank fees i.e 3.75 % of goods, packaging, and a basic candle and a knife ( for cake items ). We offer competitive pricing. There is a separate fee for delivery which covers our delivery staff and fuel surcharge. Fees vary based on delivery destinations.

3. Delivery
Express Saga processes orders for domestic delivery (within Pokhara Valley) only. We offer door-to-door service for all deliveries within Pokhara valley. In some cases, recipients in out-of-valley location may have to pick up gift items from our office by themselves. We notify recipients in such cases.

4. Delivery Date Time
Customer may choose a preferred delivery day and time while placing an order. Most orders inside Pokhara valley are delivered on the date selected by customer. However, we will attempt our best to deliver during preferred time frame or as per recipients’ convenience.

5. Delivery Exception
We deliver all gift orders on the day specified by customers. However (because of past experience) during incidents that are out of our control such as (and not limited to) political unrest, Nepal bandh, street strike, natural disasters, we may have to postpone or hold delivery. We resume delivery soonest the possible. We notify both sender and recipient of such incidents.

6. Delivery & Recipients
We ensure timely delivery. Goods are delivered to the respective recipients on the date selected while placing orders in most cases. Photo ID of recipient’s may be asked to verify and ensure correct delivery. Photo identification is mandatory on high ticketed items and recipients’ may have to sign on proof of delivery while receiving gifts. Occasionally, when recipients are not reachable (such as when mobile is switched off, incorrect telephone numbers), we will follow up with the sender to get alternate ways to reach recipients.

7. Payment Processing
We use secure payment processing options to accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and UnionPay PayPal for payment from outside Nepal. For payments in Nepalese rupees, we accept Visa, Mastercard issued by Nepali banks, e-Sewa as well as Cash on Delivery We also accept money transfers.

8. Delivery Confirmation

  • Photo Confirmation: If requested by the customer, subject to recipients’ permission for photograph to be taken.
  • Email Confirmation: for all deliveries inside Pokhara valley.

9. Delivery Details:

  • The delicious cake is hand-delivered by our delivery boy in a good quality cardboard box.
  • Basic Candle and a knife will be delivered as per the availability.
  • Design and icing of the cake may vary from the image shown here since each chef has his/her own way of baking and designing a cake. Please understand beforehand.

10. REFUND POLICY

There is a 7-day refund/replacement policy for wrong and damaged items. Wrong item(s) is replaced or refunded in full if returned in its original box or condition. There will be no refund on perishable items including cakes, flowers, sweets mithai, fruits, dry nuts, chocolates, beverages and all food and consumable items once delivered. However replacement/re-delivery is done on damaged or wrong food item delivery.

Order Cancellation:
If any existing order(s) is canceled by the gift senders (or recipients for any reason), there will be a 5% cancellation fee. The fee is to cover the processing fees charged by payment processor.

If an order is canceled because it cannot be delivered or fulfilled by Express Saga (for any reason e.g. product or delivery service unavailability, political strike, natural disaster), delivery can be rescheduled for later date or full refund will be issued to sender.

Refund is credited to sender’s account. There will be no cash refund to recipient.


11. Guarantee/Warranty
Full manufacturer’s warranty is application if offered by respective brand or company.
